About

Offline Arcade started as a shared notes file between a few friends who kept recommending each other mobile games for long commutes. We were tired of lists that just copied marketing blurbs, so we began writing down honest impressions instead. That turned into this site.,Our rule is simple: a game earns a review only after someone on the team has actually finished a meaningful chunk of it offline. We check that the thing really runs with airplane mode on, that progress saves locally, and that it doesn't nag you to reconnect every two minutes.,We lean toward variety. One week it's a slow farming sim, the next a twitchy arcade racer or a tactics-heavy RPG. We care less about hype and more about whether a game respects your time and your battery.,Nobody here is paid by a studio to say nice things. When something frustrates us, we write that too. The goal is a catalog you can trust when you have no bars and three hours to kill.
