We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site. That means basic, anonymized analytics about how many people visit and which pages they read, plus cookies that remember simple preferences like whether you've dismissed a notice. We don't ask you to create an account to read anything.

The analytics we look at are aggregated. We can see that an article was popular; we can't see who you personally are. We don't build advertising profiles and we don't sell or trade your information to anyone.

If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply and follow up, and nothing more. We don't add you to any marketing list without you asking.

If you'd like to know what we hold or want something removed, just write to the contact address and we'll sort it out. You can also block cookies in your browser without losing access to the reviews.
